This is an iconic Roberta di Camerino travel bag made in a “Trompe l’Oeil” design.  The bag is meant to carry perfume and/or cosmetics while traveling.  The bag is lined in a plasticized material which would prevent the contents from leaking out and staining other garments in a suitcase.  The exterior of the bag is made in a canvas-like linen fabric.  The bag has a gold-toned metal R hook that allows for hanging the bag and also has a metal zipper and lockable closure, although the key is missing.  It is quite large, measuring 17” in width by 12 1/2” in height.  It is in very good condition with no notable wear or staining.

This is a rare piece, as I could find no other examples - great acquisition for the Roberta di Camerino collector!
